In Conversation (places of worship) is an ongoing pilgrimage to churches on the edge of the land; clifftops, coastlines, and rugged spaces where the land meets the sky. I am drawn to these sites as places of stillness, where architecture, devotion, and landscape intersect, and where the human presence feels small yet resonant.
Through photography, I explore how these churches show quiet acts of devotion.
The project reflects on reaching toward the sacred at the edges of the world, and on how solitude and rugged landscapes offer space for contemplation and connection.
